Jacqueline Davis
Currently, Jackie is the VP of Corporate and External Affairs for the internationally famous UniverSoul Circus. Prior to the circus Ms. Davis spent several years as Special Event Manager for the Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs and at one time was the Interim Director of the Bureau. Ms. Davis was also the founder and President of MidSouth Communications, an advertising and promotions agency that satisfied high profile clientele such as Coca-Cola and Marta. She is a politically active resident of Dekalb County.
Barbara Ingram
Barbara is a Marketing professional with more than 25 years experience in corporate and consumer Advertising, Public Relations and Sales Promotion. She is currently employed as Senior Marketing Consultant with Solarcom, a leading technology solutions firm based in Norcross, Georgia. A perennial volunteer, Barbara was a key member of the PR department for The Committee to Elect Bill Campbell. She attends Victory Church where she and her husband Econuel Sr. and two children Econuel II and Ian Cole are members.
Fred Sawyers
Mr. Sawyers has been actively involved in various aspects of the recording industry since 1977. His writing, producing, and vocal credits span major involvement with network television and record labels such as Motown, Epic, Polydor and Island, both nationally and internationally. He is also Atlanta's first choices for commercial studio singers and currently can be seen touring as a background singer with Isaac Hayes. He is actively involved with the movers and shakers of the local and national music scene.
Karla Winfrey
Karla is an Emmy award winning television journalist living in Decatur, Georgia. She has spent her career as a consumer reporter; show host and documentary producer at some of the country's most prominent television stations, including WABC in New York, KDFW in Dallas, KUSA in Denver and WSMV in Nashville. She is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Genet McIntosh Hopewell
Genet is a Partner in the law firm of Hopewell & Duhart. She was the first African American Staff Attorney for Dekalb County and currently sits part-time as a judge in the Juvenile and Recorders Courts of Dekalb County. She serves as treasurer of the Dekalb Council for the Arts and sits -on the Executive Board of the Dekalb Lawyers Association.
Ed Silvera
Ed is a special event producer and production, marketing and promotion specialist that has played a key development, programming and production roles with the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Montreaux Atlanta Music Festival, The UniverSoul Circus, Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games Cultural Olympiad, Institute for the Study of African Culture, Morris Brown and Clark Atlanta University Special Art Programs, National Black Arts Festival, WCLK and WRFG Radio, Prestige Sports International, MIssissippi Valley State University. Rahn Mayo
Rahn is no stranger to the Arts. He has been exposed to the arts, theater and television all of his life, being the son of Whitman Mayo, the character of "Grady" in Sanford & Son. Rahn is a native of Los Angeles, California and currently resides in DeKalb County, Georgia with his wife Cristel. Rahn has a background in performing arts, business development and finance. Rahn brings to the board his valuable experience in the arts, entrepreneurship and community involvement.
